Sinohydro Corporation has launched the study of roller compacted concrete (RCC) dam technique in early 1980s. the first RCC dam in China was the maindam of kengkou Hydropower Station completed in 1986. Up to now, there are about 50 RCC dams completed or underconstruction, which come up to perfectness in both engineering quality and construction technique.
